The DRL trading platform is a combination of multiple applications for traders with options for bidding and offering municipal and corporate bonds. This platform is designed as a multi-tenant SaaS application. It allows traders to bid in price or yield on bonds in different ECNs and provides a lot of customizable options like total bids and capital restrictions. The platform has an inventory management system for handling the offering part of the bonds. The non-traded offer will be automatically taken down from ECNs at the end of the day and reuploaded the next day after verification. The platform also has a Profit and Loss module which captures the profit/loss in the trades. It keeps the trade details in the system and will try to match them with future buys and sells.
The platform also has options to select a bond from inventories and send it to ECNs for bids. Once the application receives the bids from the ECNs, it will be listed in the system and users can see the details like highest bid, ECN etc for a specific bid wanted. The platform also provides graphical representation and printable reports of bonds.
